I find it interesting that Americans have a constitutional right to bear arms. Seemingly to protect themselves. But in exactly zero cases in the last – let’s be conservative 50 mass
shootings has anybody pulled out a gun and shot the gunman to ‘protect themselves’?

What the fuck is up with that!!?

Edited: people were losing the point between bear arms and bare arms. My mistake. Maybe people can now focus on the fact you’re getting killed in mass murders in the US of A.

As U.S. officials brace for a further mass disclosure of leaked Iraq war files by the whistle-blower website WikiLeaks, the Swedish government said it denied a work and residency permit to founder Julian Assange. He has been establishing a base in Sweden in order to benefit from the Nordic country’s strict journalist protection laws.

Assange, an Australian citizen, is also being investigated over rape allegations in Sweden, which he has denied, calling them baseless.
